Our free tools will support you in sharing your language!

Do you have language ability and the passion for supporting bilingualism and cultural competency in our region? Be a part of our effort to bring bilingualism and community connections to our city by becoming a private language instructor.

You do not need to be a certified teacher or have a teaching degree to take advantage of our service, just some free time and the passion to serve others in their language learning goals!

Tools to Help you Teach

One City wants to help you share your language with at little hassle as possible, so we’re offering the following tools to help you succeed in your private instruction:

Your Own Webpage

To help connect you with learners, One City Project will design and host a webpage exclusively for your lessons. Your page will be highlight your biography, goals, contact button, and formats for your lessons.

Your page will be designed to modern web standards, search engine optimization, and include support for easy social media sharing.

Contact form

We’ll set up a digital contact form to make sure your students can book time with you simply and easily. You can work with your students to find the right time and location to make the best of your lessons.

Marketing Assistance

To help with spread the word about your lessons, One City Project will design and print ten (10) custom flyers that you can use to market your lessons at nearby coffee shops, libraries, colleges, or other locations where your students will want to hear about your services! Flyers come with a custom short URL that will help your students find you quickly and easily.

As part of the design process, the One City team will take a professional head shot to include on your flyer.

Cost and Details

COST:

  • We are not charging for this service. We are happy to get you set up and sharing your language without any fees.

GETTING STARTED:

To set up your own language instruction page, click the ‘Request Language Instruction Services’ tab and fill out our form. We’ll be in touch shortly to follow up with additional details and to discuss how to meet your teaching goals. We will need to meet in-person after you submit to fill out some standard agreements and other paperwork, and to take a professional head shot (if desired).
