Hello! I am Irina, a native Russian speaker from Kazakhstan, who has been living in the United States for more than four years. I am a tutor of Russian as a foreign language. I have been working as a tutor for more than two years. Before that I helped people from different parts of the world learn my native language as a volunteering activity for about 10 years. Teaching and learning languages has always been my passion. Now I speak Italian, English, and some Spanish. I graduated from the Kazakh University of World Languages and International Relations in Almaty, Kazakhstan in 2002. I have a bachelor's degree in Arts of Linguistics. Afterwards I did some language school courses in Italy in 2008. In 2011-2018 I worked for the Italian Trade Agency, where I continued improving my Italian language skills. Here living in Washington, I started to learn Spanish. I am also teaching some Italian classes to Russian speaking kids aged 6 and older at Sarogini Academy in Bellevue, WA. And I am volunteering as a teacher assistant at Saturday Russian language school in Bellevue where my son and daughter learn Russian. I would love my kids to keep their native language and of course, learn English well. I am also a service member of the US Army and I work there as a culinary specialist there.
